How do I get started with Amme?

Do I need to create an account?
No! Amme doesn't require any account or login. Everything is stored securely on your device with no cloud storage. This means complete privacy and you can start using the app immediately after download.
What happens to my data if I switch phones?
Since Amme integrates with Apple Health, your nursing data syncs through iCloud when you get a new iPhone. As long as you're signed into the same Apple ID, your lactation data transfers automatically through Health.
Can I use Amme before my baby is born?
Yes! Many expectant mothers download Amme during pregnancy to familiarize themselves with the interface. You can explore features, set up widgets, and be completely ready to start tracking from day one after birth.
Is there a learning curve to using Amme?

What if I forget to stop the timer?
You can view your nursing history and see all recorded sessions. If you notice an unusually long session, you'll know the timer kept running. While you can't edit past sessions, you can learn your baby's typical feeding duration for future reference.
Does Amme work with twins or multiple babies?
Amme is optimized for tracking one baby's nursing schedule. If you're nursing twins, you can still use it to track which breast you're using, but it won't separately track each baby's individual feeding schedule.
